Road races of all distances and sizes filled the weekends for Anne Rollins as a child, then a spectator. She has now competed in hundreds of races from the mile to the marathon, including seven New York City Marathons and Boston in 2004. Anne Rollins began swimming, ice skating and running in her early years. Very interested in athletics, she soon added indoor/outdoor track, basketball and field hockey to the list. Anne became more fascinated with how fitness worked and became a swim instructor, a fitness trainer, and a group exercise instructor specializing in, but certainly not limited to, cycling and kickboxing. She spent several years with the New York Road Runners Foundation coaching running programs as well as designing and delivering nutrition programs for youth. She also served as the nutrition consultant for the Team for Kids Marathon team. She received her Master of Science, Nutrition and Dietetics from NYU, is a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian and Nutritionist in the state of Massachusetts. She currently works with critical care and renal disease patients in a local Massachusetts hospital when she is not working with QT2 and the CoreDiet. She hopes to combine all of her experiences with her nutrition knowledge to aid other athletes attain and maximize their goals. She welcomes the new challenge of her first triathlon this year. As a single mother of two, she hopes her two best spectators will be cheering for her and all the QT2 athletes.
