Chicken Burger

.It's officially grilling season and we are here to share a healthy alternative to the beef burger: Chicken Burgers! Cooks tip: chicken burgers get a bad rap for being dry and tasteless: don't skimp on the seasonings, don't overmix don't cook your burgers too long = dry.

Ingredients

1 egg ¼ cup almond or regular flour ¼ cup bread crumbs or oats 1 Tbsp oregano (we recommend fresh!) ¼ cup parsley - chopped finely2 garlic cloves - minced ¼ teaspoon salt ¼ teaspoon pepper 1lb ground chicken To serve: low carb bread, pita bread or whole wheat bun, your favorite veggies your go-to condiments.

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the ingredients. 2. Use your hands (time to get messy!) to combine well. Try not to overwork the mixture. 3. Form into x4 patties. Mixture will still be moist. The egg will help bind everything together. 4. Grill the burgers on medium-high heat for 4 minutes a side. OR cook in a frying pan over medium-high heat for 4 minutes a side.5. Serve with warm bread of choice, alongside your favorite veggies condiments.
