Endurance events require unique nutrition!

Gravel cycling events, ultra-marathon running, epic hiking adventures, endurance mountain biking, fondos, and century rides all create challenges in fueling and hydration when you perform for long periods. These events also often have a considerable amount of climbing!

An individualized Endurance Event Fueling Plan will be created to specifically address your fueling needs during long events and/or races.  If you have had cramping problems or past fueling issues, this will focus to resolve them. You and your Registered Dietitian will work together prior to your event to test and develop a practical race fueling protocol, including specific macronutrient, electrolyte, and fluid requirements for your carbohydrate load, event morning breakfast, and event day.

Our event fueling plans are paid lump sum up-front . There are no refunds for our fueling plans. Your registered dietitian will be in touch with you within 48 hours after purchase to get started on your plan! If you choose ongoing support, there is a 2-period minimum before being able to cancel.  

An individualized plan will be created to specifically address your fueling needs during endurance events. If you have had cramping problems or fueling issues during your races, this option will be focused to resolve these issues. You and your registered dietitian will work together, prior to your meeting, to test and develop a practical race fueling protocol.

This Package Includes:

  • Initial, email correspondence and instructions for sweat testing
  • Endurance event fueling package which addresses sodium, fluid, and carbohydrate needs for at least three event distances
  • Individualized endurance event fueling plan for each distance (provided in PDF format) includes minute-by-minute instructions on how to fuel the day. 
  • In-person or phone consultation to discuss and go over your prepared individual fueling plan
  • All endurance event fueling plans also include a carbohydrate loading procedure, for the week of the event, and event breakfast for each distance provided.

Add Ongoing Support Option (+55/28 days)

  • Ongoing email support (and phone if needed) after your fueling plan consultation to ensure you become acclimated to the new plan without issues!  
  • Your nutritionist will be there to adapt your fueling plan with you as needed throughout the season to fit specific event-day weather conditions, for each of your upcoming events.
  • Your nutritionist will be available to answer questions and do post-event fueling review.
